The Lower Mainland Senior Boys Soccer Finals will be played on Monday against McNair.  Kick off at 3:30pm, probably at Hugh Boyd.  Come on out to support the boys if you can!

Grade 8 - 11 is a great opportunity to take a close look at career training.  The Richmond Career Programs office will once again offer the Career Education in Action Workshop series.  You spend a morning workshop in Auto Service...Hair Design...Cooking... or Plumbing programs.    Experience working in a trade and learn if pre-apprenticeship is right for you.  Space is limited.  For more information and registration details, view the posters in the Career Centre.  The first session... is COOKING on November 19th.  Register today!

University of Victoria representatives will be in Metro Vancouver on December 2nd.  You are invited to come learn about admissions, living and studying in residence, financial support, co-op education and student employment.

Are you 16 to 18 years and are you interested in a career in law enforcement... public safety...emergency services?  If so consider applying for the RCMP Youth Academy held from March 24th  to April 1st. 2016.  The $800 fee covers accommodation, meals, transportation to the camp, a uniform and curriculum material.   See Ms. S. Chen in room B157, or Ms. Bernard in the Career Centre, for an application package.  Application deadline is December 4th.


Post Secondary Day is on Monday, November 16th.  Grade 11 and 12 students can attend college and university sessions @ McMath during last block.    Students in grades 8 - 12 and parents are invited to the Post-Secondary Mini Fair in the Rotunda from 2:50 until 3:20pm. All representatives will be available to answer your questions.


A representative from BCIT is at McMath during lunch on Monday, November 9th.  Information Session topics include the variety of BCIT programs available and the application procedure.  Students in Grade 11 and 12 that are interested in attending, should sign up with Ms. Bernard in the Career Centre.
