Congratulations to the Junior Girls volleyball team for coming in 3rd in the V&Ds last night.  The girls won a very tough 1st round match against a strong West Van team, then lost their Semi-final match against Handsworth, but came back and dominated MacNeill to finished 3rd.  By finishing 3rd the team has qualified for provincials next week.  Good job girls.


Any Grade 9 Girls interested in playing Basketball tryouts are on today at 5pm and Friday at 5pm. Those interested in Junior Girls Basketball please stay tuned as your tryouts will commence next week, please sign up at the PE office.


Any Grade 9 or 10 Boys interested in playing Basketball tryouts are today at 5pm, and any Grade 8 Boys interested in playing Basketball tryouts are today at 3pm and Fri at 3pm all in the South Gym.


If you haven’t received your Go-Card or Photos from Re-Take Day, please come to the office at break, lunch or afterschool to pick them up.

Hola!  Wildcats, if you received a World hello Day sticker from the Multicultural Club this morning, remember to tweet a picture of yourself with the sticker using #mcmthamulticuturalclub!  You’ll get a chance to win a free buffet.  Also, don’t forget that there’s a Multicultural meeting today at lunch in Ms. Sun’s room.

Are you interested in learning Stage Sound and/or Lighting? McMath has a Technical Crew.  The tech crew will be the ONLY students authorized to set up and use equipment.  If this sounds like a club for you, come to the meeting today from 3-3:30 in the Music Room.


Student Council presents McMath Food Drive from Nov.23rd to Dec 4th we are asking for donations: Every Day 2 during, second block. On Nov 23rd hygiene products, Nov25th protein, Nov 30th dairy, Dec 2nd pasta and Dec 4th money donations.  See the posters in the rotunda if you need more information.

All this week, Interact Club will be selling banana bread to support “Jaaja Barb’s Home Of Angels”, an orphanage in Uganda.  Come out at lunch to buy some deliciously fresh banana bread for $1 a slice or $8 a loaf.  Thank you for supporting this amazing cause, see you at lunch in front of the stage.


Wildcats you are invited to make Valentine Cards for Kids at Children’s Hospital who are in the Oncology (Cancer) ward.  The CARE Club will be making cards and signs for the toy drive. Please join us today in B218 at 3pm.  Bring art supplies.  The Toy Drive will be January 5th-Feb. 11th.  The toys and Valentine’s cards will be delivered in time for Valentine’s Day.


Did you know one Double A Battery could save six lives? Zinc deficiency is a serious health problem in many developing countries.  However, there is a simple way to help! Bring dead batteries next week to help both the environment and people! “Zinc Saves Lives” will be next week, from Nov 23rd to 26th at lunch.  Don’t forget to bring your old batteries.
