Attention all staff, the Senior Boys Rugby team will need to be called out from first period on Friday, at approximately 9 am to help load the gracious donations from McMath in this message is from your Student Council. 


Have you returned your uniform to Mr. Chatha? If you haven’t yet, your deposit cheque may be cashed!  If you are not sure if you still need to hand in your uniform, please see Mr. Chatha as soon as possible.  You can also check out the list of names posted outside the office to make sure!


McMath School Service Awards forms are now available to pick up from the office.  This is for service done with the school, not your service hours for PE.

The first ever McMath All-Star Slam Night is here.  Famous poets from all around the lower mainland will be coming to McMath on Friday, Jan 15th at 7pm to battle it out.  Tickets are ONLY $1 and will help raise money for our school’s Slam Team and will be sold everyday outside the office or at the door.


Gooooooal!  The game winning goal!  Want to find out who won? Come out and watch the Senior Soccer Boys take on the Teachers today. That’s right the teachers, in this charity soccer game today in the main gym at lunch.  Only $1 and all proceeds go towards sending under privileged children to soccer camps.  And as a special treat the first 40 students to attend will get a delicious cookie! Come on out and enjoy the fun, today at lunch in the main gym.

Attention Grade 12s, there will be a very important but short meeting for all Grade 12 students at the beginning of third period Monday January 18th.

Attention all Wildcats. Do you like meeting new people? Then hosting a Student from France for a week is perfect for you.  We are looking for families who are able to billet a student from April 1st to 10th. These students are coming here to improve their English speaking skills and have an authentic Canadian experience.  If you are interested, there are forms in Ms. Cowen’s room, B213 or in the office.

Are you in French Immersion Grade 9 or 10 and would like a break from McMath? Would you like to study abroad next year in Québec for 3 months? The BC/Québec Exchange may be just for you! Come to M. Ruest room (C210) on Friday right at the beginning of lunch for a quick meeting.

This teens reader's choice award contest began this week.  How does it work?

-Sign up at the library.

-There are 8 books in total.

-Read as many as you can by May 24th

-Rate each book out of 5 stars as you finish it

-Hand in your ballots to your library

-In May, all schools will total the votes and declare a district-wide winner 

-We’ll have lots of prizes along the way!
