CONGRATULATIONS to the Grade 8 Girls in their V & D Basketball journey as they battled hard to win yesterday's game.  It was a hard fought come-from-behind victory as they beat Burnaby Central by one point!  All the best to our Grade 8 McMath girls as they play in tonight's Vancouver District’s Semi-Finals!

Attention all students Yearbook Deadline is fast approaching.  You must have your payment in by March 1st – otherwise you will not be guaranteed receipt of a yearbook at the end of the year.  Ms. Robinson will post a list in the office of student numbers who have NOT paid for their yearbook. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Robinson, the Business Assistant, in her office during break, lunch or after school.

 

Pizza! Pizza! Pizza!  Hot, fresh delicious pizza will be on sale, Thursday this week.  At $2 a slice we sell out quickly.

 

Hi, everyone who likes to go outside. Please pick-up a Hiking Fieldtrip Form from the office and hand it in to the office by Thursday afterschool at the latest to attend the hike this Saturday morning. Rides will be provided and it's going to be an amazing opportunity to meet other outdoorsy fellas. The meeting for the hike will be held THIS THURSDAY AT LUNCH in the conference room.  Every single McMath Wildcat is welcome. The Interact Team will be holding a talent show on February 29th and March 1st. Do you think you have what it takes? If so, then sign-up for the McMath’s Got Talent in the office before February 18th. Entrance to the event will be by donation and all proceeds will go the Free the Children Foundation.

 

 

It’s Worksafe Wednesday again! Did you know there were 29 young worker, work-related deaths due to a workplace injury or disease, over the past 5 years. (These deaths occurred when the workers were between 15 and 24 years old at the time of injury). Be safe out there Wildcat workers.
