On Thursday at lunch, all 3 rugby teams, (boys and girls senior, and the junior boys team), Yearbook photos in the main gym. Players must be in uniform to be included in the photos. Again, that is this Thursday at lunch in the gym for Rugby Team Photos.
Any boys interested in playing Senior Boys Basketball next year – there will be a mandatory meeting today after-school in the weight room area.
One more week until ‘7 Stories’, the McMath Theatre’s Spring Production opens. Tickets are still on sale on-line or at lunch at the stairs in front of the library for $10 each. The show runs from April 18th -21st. Get your tickets now as we have limited seats available. Come support this wonderful dark comedy.

This past weekend, 8 teams represented McMath at the Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair. The results are in and we would like to acknowledge our Wildcat Scientists who brought home some prestigious awards;
-Eva Bhathen won a Bronze Medal for her study on ‘how meditation can be used to minimise the effects of winter weather on mood’.
-Matthew Mao won a Bronze medal for his innovation, ‘the Magic Mirror’.
and Claudia Makhanko-Tang received a special monetary award from Genome BC for her research on ‘how to genetically modify mosquitoes to assist in pollination’. Congratulations to everyone!
To all current Grade 10's, 11's and returning grade 12's... Are you interested in starting your level one Apprenticeship Program in plumbing or cooking in September? You can have your post-secondary program tuition covered for these programs and earn credit for both high school and college at the same time. You will also still be able to graduate with your friends. If interested, submit your application today. This is available on the Career Programs website, and from Ms. Bernard in the Career Centre or your counsellor.
Are you planning to study in the US? Grade 10 and 11 students who are considering USA studies, will need to write either the SAT or the ACT Exam to be admissible to most US post-secondary schools.
