Special reminder to all students, particularly our seniors please make sure you DO NOT SIT on any of the tables in the school – they are being broken and can not be repaired! Please let us respect our beautiful facilities.

All students interested in being part of the Robotics Club please attend a meeting on Thursday in Mr. Byres room, at lunch. All students are welcome regardless of experience with robotics. This club will build competitive robots using VEX.  See you Thursday at lunch.

Attention Mexico travelers!  There will be an important meeting Thursday at lunch in Senora Simonson’s room, B212.

Attention Wildcat Scientists!  Today at lunch, in Mr. Thiessen’s room, B219, the Science Club will have a Theoretical Physics Discussion, where we will discuss intriguing philosophical questions like “Can something exist without an observer?”  Everyone is welcome – there is no expected prior knowledge; this is a time to have some fun discussing cool things, and everyone has something to contribute.  We encourage anyone curious about the Science Club but not currently a part of it to come to this or another upcoming event, to see what we are all about!

​Students interested in writing the Language Challenge Exam please come to a meeting on Wednesday Oct 18th in the conference room at lunch.

If you like to imitate anime characters but don’t know Japanese. The Japanese Conversation Club is for you! Have fun and improve your Japanese speaking skills at the same time! We meet today during lunch at 1pm in Ms. Ho’s room, C132.  Please eat your lunch beforehand as no food is allowed in the room. See you there.

Any student interested in Community Service Hours next Wednesday, October 25th for the Elementary Cross Country Meet, please see Mr. Jensen in PE office.

Hey Wildcats!  Don’t miss out on our Junior Dance that will be held on October 26th from 6-8pm.  Tickets will be sold for $2 in front of the library at lunch from the 17th-19th this week.  Come enjoy a night to dismember Wildcats!

Attention all members of The Royal Canadian Sea, Army And Air Cadets!  McMath is looking for cadet volunteers to proudly participate in uniform during the Remembrance Day Assembly on November 10th.  Even if you just joined cadets this year, you are highly encouraged to participate!  We also need senior cadets to fill the lead roles.  We know that there are a lot of cadets at McMath and there is strength in numbers!  For more information, muster tomorrow, Tuesday October 17, at the beginning of lunch in Mrs. Gallant’s room, C218.

Hey Wildcats! The Natural Club would like to remind you that this week is Waste Reduction Week.  We will have daily themes regarding simple things you can do to help the environment.  Monday focuses on Circular Economy.  We encourage you to always reuse and recycle materials such as plastics, metals and textiles.
