Congratulations again to our Senior Boys Basketball Team.  They play their first Provincial Team. They play their first provincial game at 6:45pm tonight at the Langley Event Centre. We’d love to see some fans out along with Mr. Belonio and Ms. Goulas to cheer on the team and demonstrate their positive PRIDE behaviour.

Hey Multicultural Club! In our meeting tomorrow, we will be introducing many holidays and celebrations in the month of March. So don’t forget to come out this Thursday in Ms. Sun’s room, C116 for a fun time.

Attention Ski Club Members.  This is your last reminder to drop by to see Mr. Pattern to pick up your Cypress Ski voucher if you missed a ski day at Cypress.  This is for students who did not have their own pass.  Thanks.  

Attention to all girls interested in playing for the McMath Soccer Team. Please sign-up outside the PE office. Tryouts will be today and tomorrow at Hugh Boyd turf starting at 3:15pm.

Attention all Grade 8 and 9 Boys tryouts for Spring Volleyball will be happening Thursday at 3pm in the North gym.  There is a sign-up sheet outside the PE office. Hope to see you all there.

Hey Wildcats, the Badminton Junior and Senior Team members, there will be a short meeting in Ms. Bennett’s room, today at the beginning of lunch to hand out forms.

Natural Club Members, there will be a meeting today in room C213 at lunch. This is a very important meeting regarding Oceans month projects, so don’t miss it. New members are always welcome.

Wildcats! Make sure you get your tickets for the Shelter Box Raffle Draw at lunch from March 8th to 14th .  Tickets are $2 fro 1 and $5 for 3, there are lots of fun prizes to be won, so see you there.

If there are any French Immersion Students interested in participating in Concours D'art Oratoire, please see Mme Zeyna in room C210 this week to add your name to the list of participants and for further details.

The French Club meets every Wednesday at lunch in Ms. Ndiaye’s room, C210. We improve French speaking skills by playing around, chatting and laughing and having fun in French! We give cookies.

 

What is a simile? It is like a metaphor! The Poetry Club presents the McMath Poetry Slam. Come out on Thursday to see the performances; from the Poetry Club, Senior Improv Team and our guest poets Angelica Poversky and Andrew Warner. There will be an open mic, snacks and lots of fun. Doors open at 6pm and show starts at 6:30 in the drama room, admission is $2 at the door.

Hey Interacters, there will be a general meeting on Thursday, March 8th at 6:55am sharp.  The theme is Environmental Sustainability and Social Equality, with a guest speaker David Ng, a professor and Director of Advance Molecular Biology Lab at UBC.  Also, this meeting will be part of our yearbook photos.
