The McMath Ultimate team won their season opener 12 to 5 against McRoberts yesterday despite the rainy conditions. It was a strong start to the season. Great job Wildcats!

There is a Grade 8 Boys Volleyball Practice today at 3pm, don’t be late.

Any students interested in competing as part of McMath’s Track and Field Team, sign-up sheets are still available in the gym foyer. Please sign-up and help represent McMath at the Track and Field meet later this Spring!

 

McMath is fortunate to welcome students from France at the end of this month who are coming here to improve their English language skills, while experiencing an authentic Canadian environment.  We remind you of this possibility because perhaps your availability has changed since Spring Break.

Students arrive in the evening on Sunday, April 29th and leave in the morning on Sunday, May 6th. Their trip has been shortened by one day since our first announcement.  If you would like to host a student, please talk to Mme. Cowin in room B213 for more details.

Do you have a talent that you need to share? Then sign-up for McMath’s Got Talent in the office. All performances are welcome. Screenings are on April 19th.

What happens when 3 kidnappers run into a house full of failed comedians? Find out at McMath’s Spring Theatre production  of “Is There a Comic in the House?” The show runs April 30th – May 4th tickets are $10 dollars. Tickets will be sold starting Monday at lunch in the rotunda or on-line. Get yours before we sell out.

Are you seeking for ways to give back to the community? Want to further your leadership experience? This is the opportunity for you. Interact Exec Applications for the 2018-19 school year are now available in the office for pick-up. Deadline to submit applications is April 24th at 3pm.

An Advisor from the University of Warwick (in the UK) will be in Vancouver on April 22nd.  This is an opportunity for junior students (and parents) to meet the representative while she is in Vancouver.  See Ms. Bernard for contact info.
