Congrats to the Senior Girls Rugby team for winning their first game of the season yesterday, against Carson Graham! Great job girls, may the winning continue.

Any students interested in competing as part of McMath’s Track and Field Team, sign-up sheets are still available in the gym foyer. Please sign-up and help represent McMath at the Track and Field meet later this Spring!


McMath is fortunate to welcome students from France at the end of this month. We remind you of this possibility because perhaps your availability has changed.  Students arrive in the evening on Sunday, April 29th and leave on the morning of Sunday, May 6th. Their trip has been shortened by one day since our first announcement.  If you would like to host a student, please talk to Mme. Cowin in room B213 for more details.

Do you have a talent that you need to share? Then sign-up for McMath’s Got Talent in the office. All performances are welcome. Screenings are on April 19th.

What happens when 3 kidnappers run into a house full of failed comedians? Find out at McMath’s Spring Theatre production  of “Is There a Comic in the House?” The show runs April 30th – May 4th tickets are $10 dollars. Tickets will be sold starting Monday at lunch in the rotunda or on-line. Get yours before we sell out.

Are you seeking for ways to give back to the community? Want to further your leadership experience? This is the opportunity for you. Interact Exec Applications for the 2018-19 school year are now available in the office for pick-up. Deadline to submit applications is April 24th at 3pm.

Reminder to grade 12 students; Scholarship Applications are due Friday April 13th by 4pm. There will be a box in the office for students to submit their supporting documents for their applications.

All English 12 AP students who are going to write the AP Exam need to see Ms. Loren at break or after school today.

What’s up McMath Scientists! Today in B219, we will be hosting a beach themed Science Club Event. We will be talking about hot to build the strongest sand castle and wet-sand effects. Don’ miss it, today at lunch in B219.

Did you know that most cities in BC have a Homeless Shelter specifically for youth? Richmond doesn’t. This year, we are participating in a count of Homeless Youth to see if Richmond has enough homeless youth to warrant a youth shelter. If you are not living at home on any night this week for whatever reason, we invite you would participate in this confidential count by Thursday April 12. Please see your counsellor for more information.​​
