Calling All Wildcat runners and walkers! Get moving and join the McMath Wildcats Sun Run Team on April 14th! The Vancouver Sun Run is Canada’s largest 10k race, the course is through downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park and ends at BC Place Stadium. Registration includes a souvenir team shirt and wrap up party with refreshments and entertainment! The McMath team gets a great discount and friends and family can also join. French Immersion and Core French Students! It is this time of the year again. Time for the “Concours d’art oratoire”! If you are interested in participating in one of the following categories of the Concours, may it be the traditional style, Ted Talk style, or in pairs, please come to a short meeting tomorrow at lunch in Mme Achour’s Room, B213.

The SD38 Career Programs office has an opportunity for Grades 8-11 students to spend a morning in the Professional Cooking or Plumbing Industry Youth Train in Trades programs. Students will work alongside the current Youth Train in Trades students and Red Seal instructors and experience what it’s like to take a college training program while in high school. Register now as space is limited. Priority will be given to those in Gr. 10 & 11. Workshops will be held on February 12th & March 6th. Students must register a week prior to the workshop. Please speak to Ms. Carter or see your counsellor.

Hello Wildcat Scientists! Science Club will be having its first discussion of the year tomorrow at lunch in Mr. Yeung’s Room, C221. This week’s topic is the ethics behind genetic editing. Feel free to stop by and learn something new! We have candy!

The Multicultural Club will be selling bubble tea today at lunch in the Rotunda. There will be original, green tea, and taro flavours. $5 for each! We sell out quickly!
