Are you a Grade 8 to 11 student interested in what it is like to be a Chef or work in the Plumbing Industry? Well, here is your chance to spend a morning with a Professional Cook or Plumbing Industry Youth Train in Trades students and instructors of the Red Seal programs at SD38 Richmond. It is a fantastic opportunity for you to work alongside and experience first hand what it would be like to take a training program while in Secondary School. Workshops are held February 12th and March 6th. Boys Spring Rugby. Spring Rugby practiceis set for Thursday straight after school. All boys in Grades 10 to 12 interested in playing rugby this spring, come on out and be ready to go. Rugby practices will be Thursday and Sunday for the next two weeks. We need as many players as possible out to these early practices to set positions and prepare for the season ahead. See you all out Thursday at 3:00 pm on our back field.

The Baking Club is meeting after school tomorrow in Room C129 to make cream puffs. If you are interested in participating, come to the foods room anytime to sign up. All grades welcome!

Hey Wildcats! Check out the Mindfulness Club’s first karaoke event of the year! Come out on Friday, Feb. 1st at lunch in the drama room for a fun, non-judgemental and musical environment. If you’d like to sing for this non-competitive event, please sign up at the office. Thank you!

McMath’s Interact Club presents the Starfish Pack Project Bake Sale, a fundraiser for Starfish Pack, which is a non-profit organization located all over the Lower Mainland. This organization strives to provide meals for elementary school students who rely on school food programs. Their goal is to allow students to have the same opportunities to learn and develop as their peers. Come out on Feb. 4th to 7th at lunch and at parent-teacher conferences to support this cause! We will be selling various baked goods in front of the library, including cookies, cake pops, brownies and more! 

Do you like brownies? Do you want to support McMath’s Operation Smile Club? Then come down in front of the office at lunch TODAY for a delicious brownie. Proceeds go to treatment for children with cleft lips.

Wildcats! Student Council will be selling Crush cans from today to February 1st at lunch in the Rotunda. Orange is friendship, pink is love, and root beer is crush. They will be one for $1 and 3 for $2.
