Congratulations to our Table Tennis Team for a terrific showing at the Provincials last weekend. 11th place. Well done, to all of our players and Coach Ms Xiao!
We have three basketball teams continuing in Provincials this week. Our Senior Girls play their first game on Wednesday, the Juvenile Girls play on Thursday. We wish them well.
Our Junior Boys have already been competing in Provincials last weekend and last night. Last night in overtime, our boys defeated Number 2 ranked Vancouver College in semi-finals. We’ll post a link on our website to a great story about the game. Super play by all of the boys who are coached by Mr. Acob and Mr. Kennedy.
So, we’re thinking we might like to have a fan bus tonight to support the Junior Boys in the Finals vs Burnaby South. What do you think? The bus would leave McMath at 4:30 pm and return after the game, probably just before 10:30 pm. If you’re interested, please come to the office at break to get a parent permission letter. The cost is only $5. Please return the letter and money back as soon as possible as space will be limited on the bus. Given the tight timeline, you can take a pic of the permission letter, have your parent sign, and send a pic back to Ms. McFadyen at the school. Ms. McFadyen's email will be on the permission letter.
