Homma Elementary is looking for student volunteers to help with the Homma Spring Fair in May. Here’s your chance to fill your final volunteer hours!! Please meet this Friday in the office conference room at lunchtime for an informational meeting.

Students that signed up to help out in the Elementary Track & Field Meet on Thursday, May 9th, there is a very important meeting on Wednesday, May 1st at lunch in the North Gym. There were a number of students signed up, therefore, we had to limit it to 50 students and put the rest on a Waiting List. The list is posted at the PE Office. Attendance is mandatory, if you are not there, we will go to the next person on the waiting list.
Grade 9 Boys’ Volleyball practice will be today in the South Gym at 3:00 to 4:30 pm. Tuesday’s practice will be in the North Gym at 3:00 pm.
Congratulations to the Senior Boys Rugby team for a fantastic weekend of Sevens Rugby at this year’s Provincial Championship. The team played brilliantly all weekend and won 5 of their 6 games. Their only loss was in Saturday pool play but rebounded beautifully on the Sunday championship round with 3 straight undefeated wins to win the Provincial Sevens Bowl Championship. Well done to all players! Next practice is Wednesday at 3 pm.

Hey Wildcats! McMath Student Council presents a special event for all Star Wars lovers out there! On May 3rd, there will be a dress up spirit day and a teachers vs. students trivia at lunch in Ms. Chen’s & Mr. Tang’s room. Also, Mr. Sharma will be hosting a movie event after school.
