Good morning McMath! Here are your McMath Student Vote results! Liberals won with 183 votes, NDP in a very close second with 181 votes, Green in 3rd with 146 votes, followed by Conservatives with 119 & Independent with 26. A total of 655 students cast a ballot last week. Congratulations for making this event a success!

To all Grade 11 & 12 students! Are you interested in going to the University in Ontario? Are you interested in attending Guelph University in Southwestern OntarioToday at 12:40 pm, come to Room A105 and meet with a representative from the University Guelph. Don’t forget to bring your lunch!  

Are you in love with writing fiction?  Do you harbour secret dreams to write the Great Canadian novel?  If so, come out to the first meeting of the Nano-wrimo club, running for one month only this year!  Every year, thousands of people write for one special month - November.  This year, McMath is up to the challenge.  If you want to learn more about this writing challenge, come to Room C212 today at 3:00 pm for a quick info meeting. Contact Ms. Phillpotts for more info.

Senior Girls Basketball Final Tryouts will be held today at 7:30 pm.

Grade 9 Boys RugbyAll players from the McMath Wildcat rugby teams to be at practice today. Richmond Championship matches are played tomorrow right here at home on our back field. Very important practice. 

Team photos for the Yearbook will also be taken tomorrow. See all players at practice today at 3:00 pm. Staff and students, please come out to the McMath rugby field tomorrow to cheer on your undefeated Grade 9 Rugby 7s teams. Games start at 3:45 pm. 6 exciting games will be played with our 2 McMath teams taking on McNair and Cambie in an afternoon jamboree.

Hey Wildcats! Student Council’s new Spirit Week is coming up next week! Halloweek is right around the corner. Monday is Marshmallow Toss, Tuesday is Squad Roll-Up, Wednesday is Frankenstein Bowling, and Thursday is the costume contest! So, come out to the Rotunda at lunch next week for some spooky, scary fun!
