Are you in Grade 11 or Grade 12 and curious about exploring a skilled trade? Are you available to work for 4 days with the School District STEP Career Programs to find out about these trades? Choose from carpentry, joinery, plumber, electrician, HVAC or with a sampling of these trades alongside SD38 maintenance yard staff. Deadline to apply is tomorrow and spaces are limited. See Ms. Carter, your Career Advisor, for an application form.

Attention all Wildcats! A friendly reminder that the Yearbook fee of $40 is due on February 28th.  Students who have paid for a yearbook will have their student number on a list posted on the office window. If your student number is highlighted, you have an outstanding fee. Please see Ms. McGarry at the Business Assistant’s window if you have an outstanding fee. Students with an outstanding fee will not receive a yearbook until paid.

Remember Wildcats, there will be a collection today in 2-1 for Australian wildlife. Please give what you can to help animals in Australia survive the devastating wildfires.  

Operation Smile Club will be selling brownies today at lunch outside the office. All proceeds go to helping people get free and safe cleft lip surgeries.

Gong Xi Fa Cai! Happy Chinese New Year! Tomorrow, January 30th there will be a Chinese New Year celebration in the Rotunda at lunch hosted by Ms. Sun’s Mandarin classes and the Multicultural Club. There will be fun games, trivia, traditional Chinese food, and lots of prizes! Come and visit our amazing booths with your friends and have fun!

Hey RHFH General Members! There will be a short meeting today at lunch in Ms. Xiao’s Room B127. We will be discussing upcoming fundraisers. Hope to see you there!

Student Council will be selling Crush Cans in the Rotunda at lunch from January 29th to February 6th. Crush Cans will be delivered anonymously on February 13th for Valentine’s Day. Pink represents love, orange represents friendship, and purple represents crush. 

PIZZA! PIZZA! PIZZA! Get your hot, delicious PIZZA for $2 a slice on Friday at lunch in front of the McMath office. Pizza sales are helping raise money for the humanitarian work to be completed by our group headed to Costa Rica this year. Thanks!
