Attention all Wildcats! A friendly reminder that the Yearbook fee of $40 is due on February 28th. Students who have paid for a yearbook will have their student number on a list posted on the office window. If your student number is highlighted, you have an outstanding fee. Please see Ms. McGarry at the Business Assistant’s window if you have an outstanding fee. Students with an outstanding fee will not receive a yearbook until paid.

The SD38 Career Programs is offering an opportunity for Grades 9 to 11 students to spend a morning with our Professional Cook Youth Train in Trades program. Come work alongside current Youth Train in Trades students & Red Seal instructors. Register now as space is limited. Priority will be given to those in Grades 10 & 11. Open House will be on Feb. 26th at Richmond Secondary School. To register, see your Career Information Advisor. 

To all Grade 10, 11, & 12 students! Have you thought about attending a polytechnic school while you attend McMath? You can graduate and become a plumber, professional cook, aircraft maintenance engineer or be artistic in painting and decorating. Ms. Lockhart will be in attendance on the morning of Thursday, February 27th to meet with you in person to answer any questions you may have. Please see Ms. Carter, the Career Information Advisor, to make an appointment.

Have you bought your tickets yet to this year’s theatre production, “That’s Not How I Remember It”, the hilarious throwback to the 80s comedy? If you haven’t, it’s not too late yet. Some shows have sold out but a handful of tickets remain. Get your tickets fast! The show opens on Monday night! 

Thank you to the Students and Staff that came out and LOUDLY cheered the Senior Boys Basketball team to a Richmond Championship with a win over Steveston-London last night. We could not have done it without you! Onto the South Fraser zones next week at Steveston-London!! Congrats to Rio H.who was named to the 3rd All Star team, Jon D. to the 2nd All Star team, and Travis H. who was named League MVP! Thanks again Wildcat Nation!!

The Ultimate Team tryouts continue today at Boyd Blue Field at 3:30 pm and on Tuesday the 25th.  Come to as many sessions as you can so that the coaches can properly evaluate you. We hope to see more of you. Sign up is in front of Mr. Yeung's Room C221.

Our 2020 Pep Rally is closing in on March 6th! Be sure to wear your grade colours on the day of the event. Grade 8s will be white, Grade 9s will be green, Grade 10s will be red, Grade 11s will be black, Grade 12s will be blue, and Staff will be grey. Get hyped and bring some school spirit.
