Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,
You are completing another year in your educational journey. It is natural that when we end one chapter, and begin another in our lives, we reflect on the experience. Reflection is an opportunity for us to press the pause button. As part of learning, when we reflect, we deliberately stop and ask about what, when and how am I learning. Reflecting on our learning experiences is powerful, because it can make us more effective learners. It builds our confidence and can translate into higher rates of learning. This Core Competencies assignment focuses on reflecting on your experiences from this past school year.
Complete the Core Competencies Self-Reflection form, attached. This should take a total of 30-45 minutes to complete. We are asking that parents take some time to discuss this reflection with their child the week of June 8th-12th.
Please email your completed Core Competencies Reflection to email@example.com and in the SUBJECT LINE please put your FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, GRADE AND STUDENT NUMBER.
For example: Subject: John Smith, Grade 12, 876543.
Please email your completed reflections, no later than Monday, June 15th, 2020.
ALL students in the Richmond School District are required to complete the Core Competency Self-Reflections Forms.
We will be contacting students who have not completed their reflection by June 15th the week of June 22nd to complete and submit for our school records.
