Happy Earth Day! Thursday, April 22nd is the international day when we think about sustainability and our planet. At McMath, the Natural Club helps out weekly by recycling paper and beverage containers and maintaining our school food garden. Other clubs and classes do activities to educate and help reduce our carbon footprint. What are you doing today? This afternoon, reflect on your own life. What is one change that you can do to make our world a little greener?  Challenge yourself by making at least one little change today, going forward.  Good habits can make a big difference!

Reading Riot ballots have been counted and this year’s top 3 titles are…in 3rd place – The Barren Grounds; in 2nd place – Long Way Down; and in 1st place – Almost American Girl. Congratulations to our grand prize winners: Annette C. & Rebecca K.!

Multicultural Members! There is a general meeting today at 4:00 pm on Zoom. We will be learning about Earth Day. After this meeting you will know how to consume less and reuse more. There will be a game & sustainable prizes at the end. The Zoom link can be found on MS Teams and on our Instagram account @mcmath.multicultural.
