Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day and an opportunity for all of us to learn something new about the history, cultures and vibrancy of the First Nations, Inuit and Métis people. Did you know that this is the 25th anniversary of National Indigenous Peoples day, which always falls on June 21st, the longest day of the year? In Canada, the term Indigenous or Aboriginal refers to 3 groups of people: First Nations, Inuit, and Métis.
