Virtual Remembrance Day Ceremony

Dear Parents,

Today at McMath, we commemorate Remebrance Day, with a Virtual Remebrance Day Ceremony. In order for all students to view the ceremony, we will be viewing it both in the morning and afternoon sessions.

We would like to thank all of our staff and students who participated and created a memorable piece; Mr Fee and the concert Band, Troy B, Annika F, Ms. Zaine and the Leadership class, Ricky Z, Samantha P, Jessica C, Mme Gallant, Ms Goulas and Mr Garner.

Today and on November 11th, we take time to observe a moment of silence to mark the sacrifice of many who have fallen in the service of our country, and acknowledge the courage of those who still serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace. Lest We Forget.

Students have received poppies provided to the school by the Royal Canadian Legion. This year we have asked students to provide a toonie donation towards the Poppie Fund. Should students have forgotten their toonie, or should you wish to support Canadian veterins in need, we will have toonie drop box in the school office Thursday and Friday, Nov 12th & 13th.

Lest We Forget
