Every year on November 11^th, Canadians take a moment of silence to remember the individuals who have served and continue to serve our country in times of war, crisis, and peace. This year’s Remembrance Day Ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 10^th. Be sure to dress up in formal attire and wear a poppy on your left chest. Poppies will be distributed during Block A. Staff and students are encouraged to make a small donation, with all proceeds going to The Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund. For those students with a study block during Block A, please pick up a poppy from the office.   

Attention all cadets who signed up to volunteer at the Remembrance Day Assembly! A reminder that we have a drill practice today right after school in the North Gym.

Grade 8 Boys Basketball Tryouts after school on Wednesday.

Any Grade 8 Girls interested in playing Basketball, sign-up is outside the PE office. First tryout is on Monday at 3:15 pm in the South Gym. Second tryout is Tuesday morning at 7:10 am.

Studio Ghibli Club members! This week’s meeting will be cancelled due to Remembrance Day ceremonies. We will see you, and Howl, next week!

Interested in skiing or snowboarding with McMath in January 2023? Submit completed forms on Monday, November 14^th at 7:30 am in the Rotunda. Forms will be numbered at this time and we can only take 100 students. Remember that members will need to have excellent PRIDE and solid academic standing as well as completed forms.

Are you a piano player? Interested in learning piano? Come to Mme. L’Abbé’s Room C202 today at lunch for our first Piano Club meeting. No experience required.

If you have pre-ordered for the McMath Cheer team’s Krispy Kreme sale, please pay today at the main stairs by the library. Pick up is November 16^th in the Rotunda.

McMath's Student Council will be having their annual food drive from November 14^th-24^th. The Block A class (which will be second block) that brings in the most non-perishable food items and monetary donations will win a class pizza lunch, and feel awesome for giving back to the community. Each food item earns points. Bonus points are given to specific high demand items. Last year, we raised over 1,900 food items. Let’s see if we can beat 2000 this year! Next Monday is PASTA MONDAY - bring in any pasta to earn bonus points for your Block A class.
