Congratulations to the McMath track and field team who participated in a very competitive Zone meet last Thursday and Friday! The team placed 2^nd overall in the South Fraser Zones.  Many of our athletes got personal best and there was a zone record broken in the senior boys 4x100m with a time of 42:36!  We qualified many athletes for the Provincial Championships in two weeks. Go Wildcats!  Practice continues this week.

Kudos to our Senior Dance Team who competed at the Intensity Dance Competition. It was their final competition of this year, and they placed 3rd! This team demonstrated true Wildcat Pride, cheering on their competitors, respecting everyone, and working extremely hard. Fantastic job team!

A great achievement was reached by the Senior Boys Rugby Team who placed second in the South Fraser AA championships last Thursday.  Best of luck to them this week at the Provincials taking place at Abbottsford Exhibition Park from Wednesday to Saturday!  Go Wildcats Go!

Attention Grade 8 Girls!  There is an open gym for Grade 8 Volleyball after school tomorrow, Tuesday, May 30th.  All skill levels are welcome, we hope to see you there!

The Grads of 2023 travelled downtown last Friday for their Boat Cruise.  The weather was perfect, sunny, warm and we had a great sunset.  The Grads had an amazing night, dancing and celebrating for hours.  Congratulations to Mr. Sidhu and the Grad Council for organizing this wonderful event. A big thanks to the Chaperones – Ms. Samra, Ms. Philpotts, Ms. Xiao, Ms. Naidu, Mr. Ngo, and Mr. Sidhu.
