Dear Parents/Guardians and students,

Your teen's Semester 1 Learning Update (Midterm) has NOW been PUBLISHED to the My Education Parent Portal. We encourage parents to sit down with their teen to read and discuss the progress report. To access the Parent Portal, please go to:https://myeducation.gov.bc.ca/aspen/logon.do

See attachment to access the step-by-step instructions for logging into the My Education BC site. Please DO NOT use a mobile device/phone, only use a desktop or laptop to access the Parent Portal. DO NOT login with the BC Services Card.

If you are having difficulties with logging in, please send an e-mail to: mcmath@sd38.bc.ca.

To view the document, click the "Pages" top tab and on the bottom right under "Published Reports", you will find the PDF Learning Update. It is recommended that you save the document as the Learning Update is only posted on the Parent Portal for a limited time (3-weeks).

Parents/Guardians with concerns are invited to make appointments to meet with their teen’s teachers during Parent Teacher Conferences on November 22nd from 2-4 pm and November 23rd from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. To book a Parent/Teacher Conference, please go to the school appointments website: school appointments Here, you will be able to create an account and schedule conference appointments for you to meet with your teen's teachers. Accounts are reset each school year so all parents/guardians will need to register for a new account. For instructions on how to set up your account and book your appointments, please see our school website.

The School Appointment booking system will OPEN at 6 pm Thursday, November 16, 2023.

Booking will CLOSE on November 21st @ 6 pm.

All appointments will be held in person at McMath. The appointments will be 8 minutes in length with a 4-minute break in between. Please note, you will need the names of your teen's teachers to book appointments.

Time slots available per teacher are limited. If you are unable to book a time slot, we encourage you to reach out to the teacher directly. Teacher e-mail addresses may be found on our school website.

We will have an alternate bell schedule on November 22nd and 23rd, with an early dismissal of 12:55 pm.
