In response to the cancellation of the written LTF 12 grad assessment last week, due to the weather-related school closures, the Ministry of Education has now provided French immersion students with another opportunity to complete this assessment.

The written portion of the LTF 12 assessment will now be completed on Wednesday, January 24^th.

The oral portion of the LTF 12 assessment will now be completed on Thursday, January 25^th and Friday, January 26^th.

The Ministry of Education requires students to complete the LTF 12 assessment this week, if they wish to write it in January. Alternatively, students may choose to complete the both assessment in June.

Please note that there is now an adjusted schedule posted outside of the library learning commons and in the main window of the office at McMath. It is very important that each student carefully checks the schedule to find out when they are completing each portion of the assessment. A general schedule is also attached to this message.

Students who were originally scheduled to complete the oral portion of the assessment on January 24^th will now have the opportunity to complete it on January 26^th, if they wish to complete the assessment in January. Friday, January 26^th is a semester turn around day and there are no classes. We know the timing is not ideal, but this is the only other time available this week for students to complete this portion of the assessment - again this is dictated by the Ministry of Education. Students who were originally scheduled to complete the oral portion of the assessment on Thursday, January 25^th will still complete it at that time.

Note that both parts of the LTF 12 graduation assessment must be completed in the same assessment session. Students may not complete one portion in January, and one portion in June. If you are not completing it in January, and as you will need to complete the assessment to qualify for the dual diploma, students will be responsible for asking their counsellor to put their names on the registration list for June.
