Due to the snow, today is Fruit & Veggie Day – Bartlett Pears!  Teachers, please send a runner to the staff room now to collect the pears.

Semester 2 is just around the corner. All students are asked to check their semester 2 schedules on MyEd BC. If you notice there is an error, such as you have an incomplete schedule or are missing a course, there is an online course correction form that may be submitted. The window for submissions is very small. Please note that students needing to submit a course correction form must also make sure that they meet the criteria for submission. Students may only submit one form. Students, please check your email and the school website for more information.

To all grade 10 and 11 students...are you interested in a career in Health Care?  You and your parents are invited to join the virtual SD38 Career Programs info session on Zoom this Tuesday, January 23rd from 6:30-7:15pm.  VCC will be at the session to speak about two programs being offered:  Medical Lab Assistant and Health Care Assistant.  Your parents were recently emailed the Zoom link and password.  It's also on the slat board in or near your counselling area.  Come learn about how to start one of these tuition-free programs while in your last year of high school.  

Thank you to everyone who supported our Costa Rica trip through participating in the Showcase Showdown! All your efforts have helped us to raise almost $1000 for supplies for the elementary school we will be working in. 

We have reached out to all of those who have won prizes. Our grand prize of two Canucks tickets and a lululemon gift basket was won with a bid within $509 by Dave L. Maci K. was our second prize winner who also won 2 Canucks tickets and a lush gift basket. And we had Mr. Sharma with a 3rd place bid winning him 2 concert tickets and a gift basket to Monkey Tree. We appreciate all the support from our McMath and Steveston community.

Tonight's showing of OUR PLACE is sold out. All ticket holders for Wednesday and Thursday's canceled shows, please continue to hold on to your tickets and watch for an update regarding any future performances on the school website or Instagram account. Hey Wildcats!  Stuco’s annual crush cans are coming up!  Selling starts Monday, January 22nd and ends Friday, February 2nd.  Pink means love, purple is crush, orange is friend, and root beer is “it’s complicated”.  Crush cans are $1 each.  Distribution is on February 13th. 

PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA!!! Get your hot delicious pizza for $3 a slice or $5 for two slices this Friday at lunch outside of the office! All proceeds go to the Costa Rica humanitarian trip, See you there! 

Attention Wildcats!  Have you lost your water bottle, shoes, lunch?  Make sure to check the lost and found outside of the office by the microwaves. Unclaimed lunch containers with food inside will be thrown out at the end of the week.
