The month of February is Black History Month and Social Justice 12 students would like to encourage McMath to celebrate.  Every day on the P.A., we will be sharing the stories of important African Canadians and Americans. Look for posters of excellence in our hallways, as well. 

Jean Augustine was a trailblazer in Canadian politics, becoming the first Black woman elected to Parliament. With a career devoted to social justice and education, she made history as an advocate for women and minority rights. Her impact endures, inspiring future generations.

To all grade 10 and 11 students...the Richmond SD38 Career Programs office is inviting you and your parents to join a virtual info session on Zoom tonight, Thursday, February 1st from 6:30-7:15 pm, where you will hear about our district's Manufacturing & Engineering Co-op program for students to take in Grade 11 or 12.  Your parents were recently emailed the Zoom link and password.  It's also on the slat board in or near your counselling area.  We hope you will join us!
