Parents & Caregivers of the McMath Grad Class of 2024 …

 

We have been busy working with the DAG Committee and McMath Staff preparing for the upcoming Grad events, we discussed payment options for Grade Event fees.

 

We are grateful for the many staff and parent volunteers who are organizing these important events for the Grads and their families.  More important details of each event will be shared at a later date. 

 

The main purpose of this message is to inform you about the dates and the costs.  Payments can be made at any time on School Cash Online. https://schoolcashonline.com/. You can pay a portion each week or the full amount, whichever works best for you. Please note that each event has a FIRM deadline to make a payment.

 

Valedictory

                Event Date:                        June 12^th, Chan Centre at UBC

                Cost:                                   $60 (includes each Grad and two guest tickets)

                                                            Additional Ticket information request form due April 17th

                                                            Please Note the Valedictory will be professionally live streamed

                Full Payment Deadline:        April 30^th

 

Dinner & Dance

                Event Date:                        June 27^th After the Red Carpet, starting at 3:30

                Cost:                                     $130 per Grad

                Full Payment Deadline:    June 1

 

Dry After Grad (DAG)

                Event Date:                        June 27^th to Morning of June 28th

                Cost:                                   $100 per Grad 

                                                          To buy a DAG Ticket, Grads MUST purchase and attend the Dinner & Dance

                Full Payment Deadline:        June 1

 

Transportation Note

·         Please note the tickets cover the cost of the buses from the Red Carpet to the Dinner & Dance venue, and the return trip back to McMath

·         Grads with a DAG Ticket will be dropped off at McMath and directly enter the event

·         Grads who are NOT going to DAG will be dropped off at Garry Street

 

A reminder, if your family needs support with the costs of the Grad Events, please contact Mr. Johnstone (jjohnstone@sd38.bc.ca) or Ms. McGarry (emcgarry@sd38.bc.a) in the office.  The affordability funds can support students attending these events.  

 

Lastly, the final payment deadlines are very FIRM as we must provide numbers for the venues.

 

This will be a great spring for the Grads and their families.
