Attention Grade 11 students interested in Humanitarian work! It is about that time that we begin taking applications for the Spring 2025 Costa Rica Trip. If you are interested in fundraising, learning about new cultures, practicing your Spanish, doing rewarding work in another country, then you should attend an information session on May 14th in Room 12137 (previously B130) (Ms. Schiefer’s room) during PLT. This is a mandatory first meeting to get information and the necessary applications. If you cannot attend, please inform Ms. Schiefer or Mr. Jackson so that you can make other arrangements. Current Grade 10 students are welcome to attend as well, however, more often it is Grade 12 students who are chosen for the trip. So, to recap: Tuesday May 14th during PLT in B130, Ms. Schiefer’s room for those interested in the Costa Rica Humanitarian Trip.

The Junior Boys Rugby Team played their last regular season game versus Earl Marriott Secondary yesterday.  The team played very well and won 61-10.  Many players had tries, Aiden scored 3, Connor 1, Kam 1, Hasan 1 and Max had 2.  Great kicks by Kam.  Great defence from Tobias, Linden, Toby, and Anthony.  Nico and Dane had some great runs from the backs.  Practice today at 3:15 pm to prepare for the playoffs on Tuesday.

Congratulations to the Senior Girls Soccer team for their big win versus Earl Marriott in playoff action yesterday. A great team effort capped off by goals from Brooke V. and Mehr S. helped secure a 2-0 victory and a place in the semi-finals next week. Good luck team!
