Dear McMath Families,

We hope the new year is starting off well for you and your children.

Our parking lot and surrounding roads continue to be a challenge at drop-off and pick-up times.

Some important reminders for drivers:

•                Please follow school zone speed limits on the road and inside our lot.

•                Please keep the fire lane clear.

•                Please do not use surrounding complexes or driveways to drop off/pick up your child.

•                Please obey the signage in our lot. No left turns can be made out of the school driveway during peak traffic times, at the start and end of the school day. These times are 8:10am-9:45am and 2:45pm-3:20pm. This rule is in place in order to allow for a better and safer traffic flow.

We have also recently received a letter from the Manager of the Minato West complex, located at 4151 Regent Street. It has been reported that parents are stopping on Regent Street and blocking access and exit points for those residents. Residents have also witnessed unsafe u-turns within the complex.

We kindly request that drivers follow safe pick-up and drop-off practices, and show care and respect for our neighbours and their property.  We are all working together to keep both students and local residents safe.

Administration will try to be outside to help with traffic when possible, but we are often needed inside the building at peak drop-off/pick-up times, so your care and cooperation is much appreciated.
