Attention all students, tomorrow Wednesday, Sept 25th is our first Collaboration Day of the school year. The first class will start at 9:30am.
Sept 27th is Orange Shirt Day. Reconciliation and the lasting impacts of residential schools have sparked conversations between parents and children, educators and students around Indigenous issues, histories, and perspective. We encourage staff and students to wear orange on Sept. 27th and to focus on Reconciliation in the days ahead of Sept. 30th – National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Attention all Grade 8s!! This Wednesday, September 25th is a Collaboration Day and GRADE 8 DAY! School starts at 9:30am, Grade 8s will go directly to their Block A classes at 9:30am and shortly after, an announcement will be made for all Grade 8s to proceed to the gym for the festivities.
Attention Grade 12 Students. There are about 50 students who have not yet completed their Grad Expectation Agreement to participate in Grade 12 events. If you want to go the Boat Cruise, you must have the agreement completed and sent to the office. Get yours in today!
There will be a mandatory meeting for all yearbook students enrolled for second semester at lunch time Wednesday in the photo room - please arrive at the beginning of lunch.
Do you need a scorekeeping refresher? Are you new to score keeping? If so, there will be a scorekeeping training session held Thursday at lunch in Mr. Lui’s room 23513 (upper C wing). See you there.
It’s McMath’s 26th Birthday! This Thursday, Sept 26th at lunch, come down to the rotunda and sign our annual birthday banner and get a sweet brownie treat! Get in the spirit and wear McMath blue on Thursday.
Are you in Grade 11 & 12 and are interested in UBC Okanagan for your post- secondary education? If so, you are invited to attend a Discover UBC Okanagan Event at Steveston-London, tonight @ 6:30pm, parents are welcome to attend as well. Pre-event registration is not required, attendees are most welcome to register in-person at the event
Are you interested in Science Competitions? An information session for the Kwantlen Science Challenge and UBC Physics Olympics will be held, today, in Mr. Thiessen’s room 22121 at the beginning of lunch. All grades are welcome.
