November 12-21, 2024 - McMath FOOD DRIVE:

Next week is the start of Student Council’s annual Food Drive for the Richmond Food Bank. This time of year, donations are needed more than ever given the skyrocketing cost of food and overall cost of living. Many families in our community are struggling. Last year, McMath staff and students generously donated over 1000 non-perishable food items and  a record breaking $3160.90 in cash donation!!! Along with the usual food donations, we are also collaborating with Interact for a Hygiene Drive to benefit the Pacific Immigrant Resources Society. All hygiene items (toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, pads/tampons… etc.) will be collected during the next two weeks.

Tuesday 12th - Tuna Can Tuesday (all canned protein)

Thursday 14th - Tomato Soup Thursday (all canned soup)

Tuesday 19th - Tortellini Tuesday (all pasta)

Thursday 21st - Toothpaste Thursday (all hygiene products)

Final day for collection is Friday, Nov. 22^nd- all items.
