Student Notices November 5th 2024
This week is Veterans’ Week, a time to reflect on and commemorate the sacrifices of those who have served and continue to serve our country in times of war, conflict a and peace. We will be collecting donations for the Poppy Fund this week during A block classes. Our Remembrance Day Ceremonies will be held on Friday, November 8th.
Flags across Canada have been lowered to half-mast today to honour the passing of Murray Sinclair. A former judge, senator and chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. He spent his career working to shine a light on some Canada’s darkest historical chapters.
If you had photo re-takes your Student ID Card is ready for pick up at the office.
Attention Grade 9s! Did you hand in your ‘Take Our Kids to Work’ form to your A block teacher? If not, please bring it to the office today! They forms are now past due.
Basketball Tryout dates and times for Grade 9 boys, Junior Boys, Junior Girls and Senior Girls will be posted on the PE bulletin board outside of Mr. Lui’s room, 223513 in upper C wing. Info can also be found on the McMath Athletics Instagram. Come tryout Wildcats!
