This week is Veterans’ Week, a time to reflect on and commemorate the sacrifices of those who have served and continue to serve our country in times of war, conflict and peace. We will be collecting donations for the Poppy Fund this week during A block classes. Our Remembrance Day Ceremonies will be held on Friday, November 8^th.

If you had photo re-takes your Student ID Card is ready for pick up at the office. If you received an email about photo packages, they are ready for pick up in the office.

Attention Grade 8s! Fine Arts Rotation 2 begins tomorrow, Nov 7th. If you are taking Drama this semester, you will move to the Art in Room 13187 (lower C-wing) and if you are in Art you will move to Drama in Room 11216 (by the rotunda). Check out where these rooms are so you know where to go to tomorrow. 

Tomorrow is Fruit and Veggie Day – Apples. Please send a runner to the staffroom during announcements on Thursday. Please return the bins and extra apples to the staffroom.

Interested in a future career in skilled trades, early childhood education, or health care?  If so, come join the Career Programs informal Q&A series after school today, Nov 6th between 3:00 and 4:00pm on Zoom.  More information can be found on the Career Programs bulletin board found in or near your counsellors' office.

Basketball Tryout dates and times for Grade 9 boys, Junior Boys, Junior Girls and Senior Girls will be posted on the PE bulletin board outside of Mr. Lui’s room, 23153 in upper C wing. Info can also be found on the McMath Athletics Instagram. Come tryout Wildcats!

Pizza, pizza, pizza is back! On Friday, November 8^th, get your hot delicious pizza for $3 a slice or $5 for tow. Our sale will be outside the office at lunch. Please remember to bring cash!

StuCo’s Annual Food Drive for the Richmond Food Bank starts Nov 12^th. Donations will be collected in 2^nd block. Every item donated will be counted for points, there will be bonus points given for certain items on certain days. You can also donate money, 1 point per dollar. The class with the most points wins a pizza party and more!

Nov 12th - Tuna Can Tuesday (all canned protein)

Nov 14th - Tomato Soup Thursday (all canned soup)

Nov 19th - Tortellini Tuesday (all pasta)
