Semester 2 Schedules and Course Correction Requests (Jan 10-14th)
Dear McMath Students:
We hope that you have returned from winter break with a renewed energy, and that you are working toward a strong finish in semester one!
As the end of semester one is drawing near, it is time to also start preparing for semester two. Attached to this email is your semester two schedule. Please review it. We also strongly recommend that you login to MyEd BC to look at your schedule. It is important for you to make sure that you can login to your MyEd account, as next month you will need to use MyEd BC to make course selections for next year.
If there is an error in your course schedule for semester two, please complete the online “McMath Course Correction Request Form”. Note that requests for course corrections will only be considered if there is space in the requested course(s), and if the request meets one or more of the following criteria:
Your schedule is incomplete (i.e. you are missing a course from your schedule)
OR
You are missing a course needed for graduation or a desired post-secondary program (gr 11 & 12 students only)
OR
Your scheduled course selection reflects an incorrect level or grade.
Also note that priority for course correction requests will be given to grade 12 students. If a correction is possible, note that it may affect the placement of other semester two courses in your schedule.
***STUDENTS MAY ONLY SUBMIT ONE ONLINE COURSE CORRECTION FORM. ADDITIONAL SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
The online course correction request form will be open for submissions from 3pm on Friday, January 10th until 7pm on Tuesday, January 14th. Late submissions will not be considered.
If you need to submit a course correction request form because your schedule meets one or more of the above criteria, please go to: https://forms.office.com/r/XPFXM3Rgp7?origin=lprLink) .
Please be patient as counsellors work through the course corrections. Check back daily in MyEd to see if your schedule has been updated. It is important that you follow your schedule as it presents in MyEd.
Thank you for your attention and cooperation.
Sincerely,
McMath Secondary School
