Student Notices January 13th, 2025

Attention all Grads of 2025! The annual Grad Group Photo will be taking place in the Rotunda on Tuesday, January 21st at 8:45am SHARP! Make sure you are on time, so you don’t miss out on this Wildcat Grad tradition.

 

Attention to all students:

Counsellors are offering Course Corrections & Changes for Semester 2.  Please check your emails for your Semester 2 schedule and the course correction link. To request a course correction for Semester 2, you can submit a request using the online link found your email which will close tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7pm.

 

Students enrolled in FRAL 12 this year are required to sit the LTF Grad Assessment – starting tomorrow January 14 and on 15 & 16th. Please check the lists posted outside of the office or library to find out when you are scheduled to write the LTF assessment.

 

Grade 10 Students: All current grade 10 students need to write the mandatory Numeracy Assessment on either January 23rd or 24th, 2025. A schedule is posted outside the office or library. Please check the list to make sure your name is there. If not, please see Mr. Banta as soon as possible. There will be a practice session, during PLT on January 21st in the library.

 

Come down to Ms. Sun’s room, 13183, on Tuesday, January 14th during PLT. Sarah Sun and Jeffery Wang will be talking about the History of Chinese Calligraphy for the Chinese History and Culture Club. Students who are interested are welcome to come and learn the basics strokes of Chinese calligraphy. See you there.

 

 

 

 

Attention McMath Concert Choir members, please come to the choir room on Thursday at lunch to hand in your semester 1 and winter concert music.  We will be discussing our performances for Semester 2 and handing out new music.  Bring your lunches and see you there!

 

 McMath’s first Open Mic Night is happening today afterschool at 3:30pm in the band-room! Come out and watch the performances in the band-room. If you are one of the performers, please make sure you arrive early. See you all there.

 

Student Council’s Spirit Week is this week!

Today is Monochrome Monday,

Tomorrow is Band Tee Tuesday,

Wednesday is Tropic vs Tundra 0R Hot vs Cold,

Thursday is Camo Day and Friday is Iced-Out day (wear your bling). Student Council will be handing out prizes at lunch to those who has dressed up, so get in the spirit Wildcats. Also, head to the photo room (Room 13185) for pictures of your spirit wear!

 

The Care Clinic Club will be having a Bubble Tea Fundraiser pre-sale today and tomorrow at lunch. Find us on the stairs outside the library. We will be selling Bubble Tea for $6.25 each. Flavours include Matcha. Taro and Brown sugar all with pearls. And Peach Green Tea and Passion Fruit Green Tea with coconut jelly. All proceeds will be donated to the Minoru Senior Centre, we can’t wait to see you.

 

Please remember to check the Lost and Found, outside the library for any items you may have lost. Some smaller items or more valuable items may also be found in the office.
