Dear McMath Grads and Families:

This is a friendly reminder to all Grads and their families that the deadline to claim and purchase tickets for Round 1 of the Valedictory Ceremony at UBC’s Chan Centre is at 11:59 pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. 

Families who have paid the initial Valedictory fee of $80 MUST go to the UBC’s online ticketing system to claim the included 2 guest tickets.

Families are strongly encouraged not to make non‑refundable travel plans for out‑of‑town guests until tickets have been secured. We are pleased to share that the ceremony will also be live‑streamed, allowing family and friends who cannot attend in person to watch online. Details on how to access the live stream will be shared before June 10, 2026.

Tickets for the McMath Valedictory Ceremony on June 10th, 2026 will be managed through UBC’s online ticketing system. The first ticket round will be open from May 4–13 and includes:

• Two guest tickets per graduate (included in the $80 Valedictory fee)
• The option to purchase one additional ticket for $15

Round 1 is not first come, first served, but tickets must be claimed by May 13^th at 11:59 pm. Two additional purchasing rounds will follow, with availability in Round 3 dependent on remaining tickets:

• Round 1: May 4–13
• Round 2: May 19–29
• Round 3: June 3 (as long as tickets remain available)

Please note: Graduates do not require tickets. Tickets are only for guests attending the ceremony.
