Dear Grade 12 Students and Parents/Guardians who have purchased tickets for the Boat Cruise,

We are excited for our upcoming Grad Boat Cruise. Important info below. Please read!

Times:

• Arrival & Check-In: 5:00 – 5:30pm
• Boarding: 5:30 – 5:45pm
• Departure: 6:00pm sharp!
• Return: 9:00pm sharp!

Location:

Bayshore West Marina, 450 Denman Street, Vancouver

Driving & Parking:

Students are responsible for transportation to and from the boat.  Give yourself lots of time to get there as there is ongoing construction in Richmond and Vancouver.  If you are driving yourself, there is pay parking available. 

The nearest parking lot at the end of Denman Street is managed by Easy Park. You can pay by phone or at the machine (Lot #35):

Other Important Information:

Students will need photo ID for check-in and boarding.  Students can bring last year’s Student ID card, or have other personal government issued photo ID. 

As this is a school function, all school rules apply. Possession and/or consumption of alcohol, vape products or other illegal substances and/or possession of weapons will result in denial of boarding and suspension. Do not bring food or drinks (including water and gum), as those will not be permitted onboard. We expect our students to demonstrate PRIDE behaviour and make good choices.  Students will be thoroughly checked including bag check prior to boarding by the security staff of the charter boat company.  Security will also be on the boat to supervise alongside our school staff. 

School supervision ends when the boat returns at 9:00pm sharp. Students are reminded to please make sure you have a safe plan to get home.  If parents are picking up, please do not arrive later than 9:00pm. 

There will be a buffet dinner to enjoy on the boat. If you have any food allergies, please ensure you see the administration for alternate arrangements asap.
