Student Notices March 31st, 2025

Today is International Transgender Day of Visibility. This is celebrated every year on March 31st to acknowledge the existence of trans people and to highlight the challenges they face every day.

Trans people, especially trans kids and teens, are much more likely to experience mental health challenges, discrimination, harassment, and violence than their cisgendered counterparts. Education and initiatives such as Trans Day of Visibility are an important part of building safe and inclusive communities where everyone is welcome.

Interested in 2SLGBTQ+ issues? Need a safe space? Join the Pride Club Wednesdays at lunch in Mme Grondin’s room, 22119.
