Music in our Schools is a series of concerts held at the Gateway Theatre highlighting school music programs. Concerts provide an opportunity for our young musicians to share their talents while performing onstage at a professional venue. Tonight, McMath is featured, the concert series runs from April 29^th to May 8^th. We wish Mr. Fee and our talented musicians’ good luck. Go Wildcats.

Grads! Please check out the rolling board outside the office. You will need to review your name and Grad photo and scan the QR code to submit your comment for crossing the stage and to confirm the name for the grad composite, certificate etc. The deadline is May 1^st @ 3pm. Please fill this out ASAP. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Mavis in the office.

Thank you to all of you - teachers, student volunteers, student voters - who participated in the Student Vote for the federal election last Friday. The McMath election results had the LIBERAL candidate winning, with the CONSERVATIVE candidate coming a very close 2nd – similar to the official results.

Across the country students from 5900 schools cast 900,000 votes, resulting in a Conservative minority government with the Liberal Party as the official opposition. Conservative Party: 165 seats, Liberals 145, Bloc Québécois 18, NDP 13 , and Green Party with 2 seats.

Thank you for your participation in the democratic process and exercising your right to vote.  Stay involved and continue to have your voices heard!

Hey Wildcats! Let’s get excited for this year’s PEP Rally happening on Friday, May 9^th. Be hyped for some awesome activities run by our Student Council, including finish the lyrics, tug of war and some amazing performances. Stay tuned, more details to come.

Calling all Fandoms! Student Council will be hosting a Fandom Trivia on May 2^nd in Ms. Chen’s room, room 12148 at lunch. Come with a friend and answer trivia questions about Star Wars and other popular media to win a prize! Student Council will also be hosting a Fandom Costume Contest on May 2^nd. To enter, post a picture of your costume on your story and tag @mcmathstuco on Instagram. Winners will receive a prize! May the force be with you.

The Relay Race hosted by McMath’s student Council’s is happening on Thursday, May 8^th at lunch in the gym! Each grade from 8 to 12 will compete in a series of fun challengers that test teamwork, co-ordination and speed. Come join us in the big gym!! This is your chance to cheer on your grade and build the hype for our PEP RALLY on Friday, May 9^th.
