Dear Grade 12 Students and Parents/Guardians,

We are excited for our upcoming Grad Boat Cruise this Friday evening.  Please read below for important information.

Boat Cruise Date: Friday, October 3, 2025

Times:

·      Students arrive 5:15 – 5:30pm

·      Security Check-In & Boarding: 5:45pm (Student ID required)

·      Sailing Time: 6:30pm SHARP!

Location: Dock B, Plaza of Nations Marina

                 750 Pacific Boulevard, Vancouver

Students are responsible for transportation to and from the boat.  Give yourself lots of time to get there as traffic is busy on a Friday evening, and there is a hockey game downtown that evening as well.  If you are driving yourself, there is pay parking available at the Plaza of Nations parking lot (credit card or app required).

Students will need their Student ID for check-in and boarding.  Student ID cards were distributed this past Friday.  If students missed the Artona photo day, they can bring last year’s Student ID card, or have other personal government issued ID to show.

As this is a school function, all school rules apply. Possession and/or consumption of alcohol, vape products or other illegal substances and/or possession of weapons will result in denial of boarding and suspension. Do not bring food or drinks (including water), as those will not be permitted onboard. We expect our students to demonstrate PRIDE behaviour and make good choices.  Students will be thoroughly checked including bag check prior to boarding by the security staff of the charter boat company.  Security will also be on the boat to supervise alongside our school staff.  School supervision ends when the boat returns at 9:30pm sharp.

Students are reminded to please make sure you have a safe plan to get home.  If parents are picking up, please do not arrive later than 9:30pm.

There will be finger food to enjoy on the boat (pizza, chicken wings, veggies, chips & salsa, pop and dessert). If you have any food allergies, please ensure you eat prior to boarding or see the administration for alternate arrangements as this venue is unable to make substitutions.
