Literacy Development
With the support of our Literacy Support, ELL, and English Language Arts teachers, our school has been working collaboratively to continually better understand students’ literacy development, particularly in areas like reading comprehension and overall engagement. Staff have launched initiatives to synthesize classroom observations and student feedback—gathered through focus groups, student voice, student surveys and learning summaries—with the goal of designing effective, responsive support structures. This ongoing work reflects a shared commitment to fostering a deeper connection between students and literacy. We look forward to continuing this focused work in the 2025-2026 school year.
