A reminder to all Grade 10 and 12 students that your GLA exam starts next week. Grade 12s, if you are interested in attending an optional review session, please come to the library today after school. Make sure to check the McMath website for more information.

Attention Grade 9s and 10s! Immunizations will begin tomorrow at 8:30 am on the stage. Students will be called down to the stage by alpha order.

This a reminder to all Grade 9 students that the permission form for Take Our Kids To Work Day is due to the office by tomorrow, October 28^th.  A permission form was emailed to all Grade 9 parents last week, and only Grade 9 students with a completed form, can participate in the event next week on Wednesday, November 2^nd.

 Senior Boys Basketball Open Gym is today from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

Boys Basketball Open Gym for Grade 8s to 10s tomorrow from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

Girls Basketball Players! Open Gym is this evening from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm in the South Gym. Tryouts for teams are not too far away so come on out and keep working on those skills!

Congratulations to the Senior Boys Volleyball team who finished their regular season in the South Fraser Premiere League last night. Despite a few injuries, their hard work and determination paid off as they went undefeated. Good luck to the team as they head into playoffs!

Mr. Garner is participating in Movember, an event to raise funds and awareness for cancer and mental health, and he needs McMath’s help! You get to choose what moustache he has to rock for November. There are 3 options displayed on the Theatre Room Wall. Come and donate a $1.00 or more and choose which moustache you want to vote for. At the end of October, the moustache with the most votes wins! Mr. Garner will then donate all the donations to BC Cancer Foundation from McMath. The goal is to raise $500! Let’s bring awareness with Wildcat Pride!

Tonight is the Grade 8 Dance so there will be no lunch event. Friday is Red Light Green Light. Come to the Rotunda at lunch tomorrow and join the fun!

Halloween is right around the corner and we’re looking for fun and creative costumes for our annual costume contest! The costume contest will take place at lunch on Monday, October 31^st on the main stage in the Rotunda. The sign-up sheet is linked to our Instagram bio @mcmathstuco. Last day to sign up is October 28^th! There will be prizes for the best costumes!
