Attention Grades 10 to 12 students! The Richmond Career Programs Office, in partnership with the Richmond RCMP, is inviting students to participate in Richmond School District's second annual RCMP Youth Academy. This is a 5-day camp from Feb 16^th - 20^th, 2023.  Deadline to apply is Monday, December 5^th. Applications are due to your school counsellor.

Grade 9 Girls Basketball tryouts will be held tomorrow from 3:00 to 4:30 pm.

Grade 9 Boys Basketball tryouts will be today from 6:00 to 7:30 pm and Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. Please come out if you are interested in playing this year!

The McMath Swim Team made a huge splash at Provincials this weekend. They were second chance champions, making the most of swims in finals to move up in every race. Both Josh W. and Emi N. clawed their way from 8^th place all the way to BRONZE MEDALS! Brodie N., Elim Y. and Grade 8 Nathan Z. also had stand out individual events. Ethan C. carried the weight of several relay teams on his back. Congrats to all 22 swimmers!

RHFH will be distributing bubble tea tomorrow at lunch in the Rotunda. If you pre-ordered bubble tea last week, don’t forget to come pick it up. If you did not pre-order but you would like to purchase some, there will be limited amounts for sale. 

Come donate and support the Richmond Hospital with the Warm Clothes Gift Drive! Donate any clothes in good condition such as gloves, scarves, coats, and sweaters. No need to buy anything new, just bring in good condition clothing that you already have. Collections begin Monday, November 28^th and collection boxes will be provided to every classroom. Interested in Chinese Culture? The Chinese Board Game Club is hosting a school-wide Mahjong competition! Anyone can join and there will be prizes! Come to Mr. Shen’s Room B206 during lunch every Tuesday and Thursday to learn more about free to play Mahjong.

This is the last week of the Food Drive! Our last bonus item this year will be instant noodles. Be sure to bring in all your non-perishable food items in by the end of the week. Currently, in third place, we have Ms. Chen's class with 280 points, in second place we have Ms. Phillpotts' class with 356 points. And in first place, we have Mr. Sidhu's class with 1093 points!
