February 22nd, 2023

Today is Pink Shirt Day. Celebrated annually, Pink Shirt Day began in Canada in 2007 when two students from Nova Scotia, David Shepherd and Travis Price, took a stand against homophobic bullying after a new Grade 10 student was harassed and threatened for wearing pink. Each year, on Pink Shirt Day, we wear something pink to symbolize that we, as a society, will not tolerate bullying anywhere. McMath will join the rest of B.C. and celebrate our PRIDE community where everyone belongs.
