Congratulations to our Senior Girls Basketball team for their win yesterday at the Girls Provincial Championships at the Langley Events Centre!  The girls defeated John Oliver Secondary to win their opening round game and advance to the Quarter-finals today.  The team was led offensively by Caitlin K. who had 28 points, Marina R. who had 21, Aaria J. added 15 and Mirella F.B. who had 11 in the victory.  Amelia S. was a force on the glass, pulling down a bunch of rebounds while Tiana M. and Sarah C. rounded out the win with solid perimeter play at both ends of the floor.  The girls have a chance to get to the Provincial Semi-finals with a victory in the second round.  Good luck to the team in their game today!

Attention Grade 8, 9 and 10 Rugby players!  We practice today at 3:15pm-4:30pm. Remember to get a mouth guard and dress for the weather.

Congratulations!! to McMath’s Table Tennis Team for placing 2nd at the City Championships!  Our table tennis team will be playing at the Provincials tomorrow! Let’s go wildcats!

McMath Track Athletes! Try it Track week has been moved to NEXT week, March 6^th to 10^th, due to the bad weather! Same schedule of events and location but different dates. Check out the Instagram page and your email for details. Also, please remember to hand in your forms to the PE office.

The Badminton Team will be holding tryouts next week after school on Wednesday, March 8^th and Thursday, March 9^th. Please sign up in advance for the tryouts in front of Room B127. All grades are welcome to come tryout!

Want to show some school spirit? Join Student Council’s upcoming Spirit Week from March 6^th to March 10^th, which is the last week before Spring Break. Next Monday will be Monochrome Monday and Tuesday will be Crazy Hair and Hat Day.

Grade 9s, 10s, & 11s! Student Council will be holding a Spring Fling Dance and the theme will be the Secret Garden. The dance is on March 7^th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the South Gym. Tickets are $5 and will be sold today at lunch by the office until tomorrow.
