Congratulations to the senior girls’ basketball team for advancing to the FINAL FOUR of the Triple A Provincials!  The girls won a tough defensive battle by a score of 48-36 to advance to the semi-finals this afternoon against Abbotsford Secondary.  Marina R. was named player of the game in the victory!  Staff and students are invited to a watch party for the senior girl’s semi-final basketball game today at 3:15pm in the rotunda! Thanks to Mr. Belonio for organizing this! Tomorrow the girls will play in the afternoon and we are asking every Wildcat Fan to get a ride to the Langley Events Centre to cheer on our girls to victory!  Wear your Wildcat Blue and bring loud noise makers!  Let’s go Wildcats!

All Grade 8 boys interested in playing Volleyball this year please sign up on the sheet posted outside the PE office.  The tryouts will happen next week on Monday and Tuesday from 3:00-4:30pm in the North Gym.

Girls’ soccer tryouts will take place next week on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:15-4:30pm!

The Badminton Team will be holding tryouts next week after school on Wednesday, March 8^th and Thursday, March 9^th. Please sign up in advance for the tryouts in front of Room B127. All grades are welcome to come tryout!

Want to show some school spirit? Join Student Council’s upcoming Spirit Week from March 6^th to March 10^th, which is the last week before Spring Break. Next Monday will be Monochrome Monday and Tuesday will be Crazy Hair and Hat Day.

Grade 9s, 10s, & 11s! Student Council will be holding a Spring Fling Dance and the theme will be the Secret Garden. The dance is on March 7^th from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm in the South Gym. Tickets are $5 and will be sold today at lunch. Today is the last day to buy tickets.  If we don’t sell at least 100 tickets by today, the dance will unfortunately have to be cancelled!
