Teachers!  Please send a runner to the Staff room now to pick up the cucumbers.  Any leftovers need to be returned back to the Staff room by the end of Block F.  Any students wanting extra cucumbers, can go to the LS room at lunch. 

March 8th is International Women’s Day. It’s a global day to recognize and celebrate women’s and girls’ social, economic, cultural, and political achievements. It’s also a time to raise awareness of the progress made towards achieving gender equality and the work remaining to be done. International Women’s Day is a day of unity, celebration, reflection, advocacy, and action and is celebrated in many countries worldwide. This year's theme is 'embrace equality'. 

Attention all students!  A reminder for all students to clean out their locker before Spring Break.  Please remove any garbage, dirty clothing, and food items from your locker by Friday.

Attention students in grades 10-12 who are interested in the law and/or policing!  There is a one-day RCMP Youth Day event coming up that will be filled with interesting activities related to the work of the RCMP.  Applications are due by April 5^th, 2023.  Please see your Counsellors or Career Information Advisor in the Counselling Centre for more information.

Hey Wildcats! There will be a badminton open gym during PLT this week on Thursday, March 9th in the South Gym.  It is highly recommended to bring your own racquet, as there will be tryouts happening after school from 3:00 – 4:30pm.

Try-it-Track is every day this week at Minoru – there will be multiple events each day and many prizes to be given away!  Meet in the stands at Minoru track at 3:30pm.  Highlights include a Throws specialist today, and Evan Dunfee will be there to teach everyone how to race walk!

Reminder to all girls interested in going out for the soccer team that try-outs will be held again today at the Boyd Turf from 3:30 to 5:00pm!
