Our focus this year is to review, revamp, and relaunch three school initiatives to enhance learning for the needs of today and the future.  Our actions plan consists of the three focal points are:

1. Our Purpose
   • Using the Department Purpose statements to create a McMath Purpose Statement
   • A joint Purpose will guide our learning journey and align with our Mission Statement
2. Priorities & Values
   • During Covid, many of our activities were not able to happen, our focus on PRIDE has not been a focus
   • We our action plan is to review our PRIDE values as a school (students & staff).  This review will update our values in 2023 and beyond.
3. Build Curiosity using student voice
   • The McMath students who attended the District Student Voice last spring were inspired to create forums for their fellow students
   • The action plan is to have 4-5 school forums led by students with the guidance of staff
   • Staff are curious to learn from the voices who are not able to speak or who we are not listening to have
   • The focus is to learn how to provide a better experience for ALL students for their 5 years at McMath
   • This may process share survey data results to inform

Why these three initiatives?  School communities that make the most difference for their learners have six qualities.  Our three initiatives are the first three qualities, based on educational research.
