Photo Retake Day is on Wednesday, Oct 18th in the morning only! Retakes are only for those students who missed the original photo day OR those who would like to purchase a photo package but who would like a different photo. Please note, you must hand in your original Student ID Card to the Artona staff before taking a re-take photo. 

Hello Wildcats!  There will be an info session in Ms. Chen’s room, B157, at lunch this Thursday, October 19th about the SHAD Program.  SHAD is a summer program held across Canada where you spend a month on a university campus participating in group activities centered around STEAM topics!

There will be Open Gym Basketball for any girls in grades 9, 10, 11 or 12 interested in playing this year – this week on Monday and Wednesday nights from 7:30 – 9:00pm. 

The McMath Cross country team runs at the Richmond Championships this week on Wednesday. Come down to Garry Point and cheer on these athletes as they race 5km and jump over hay bales. The juniors start at 3:45pm and the seniors at 4:00pm. Go Wildcats!

Hey McMath Concert Choir, practice tomorrow during PLT in the staff room.  We’re going to try different spaces to find one that fits us because so many of you love singing!  New members always welcome, no experience necessary, open to grade 8-12.  See you tomorrow during PLT in the staff room, please be on time!

Halloween is right around the corner and Student Council is hosting a Grade 8 Halloween Dance on Monday, October 30th.  The theme is NEON NIGHT!  Tickets are $7.00 per ticket which includes entry to the dance, pizza and a drink.  Tickets will be on sale in front of the office from October 16th to 24th.  Hope to see you there!

A presenter from University of Calgary will be presenting in Room A105 next to the cafeteria today at lunchtime 12:50 - 1:35 pm. Come along ask questions and get your questions answered.
