Wildcats! Tomorrow, October 4^th, is the first Connexions class of the school year.  Connexions class is a mandatory class for students with learning centered around Career Life Education. Students are to report to their Homeroom class at 8:30 a.m.  A list of Homeroom Classes will be posted on the office door for those who need it.

Grade 12’s your first Connexions class will be all about Capstone!  Make sure you attend.  Also, for Grade 12 student, during PLT on Thursday, you are invited to the first Grade 12 Meeting in the gym!!  At this meeting you will hear information about transcripts, signing up for BCeID/STS, Post-Secondary processes, applications, and information, as well as scholarship information and Q & A.  Mark your calendars!  See you there!

Any boys in grade 10, 11 & 12 wanting to play basketball this year, there are open gym/practices Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30 pm.

Open gym for the grade 9 boys on Wednesday has been cancelled.

Good luck to the McMath cross country team who is competing tomorrow at SLSS in their 2^nd league meet. Come out and cheer the wildcats on at 3:45pm. 

Outdoor Ed 11/12 students: you have a meeting at lunch this Wednesday, October 4^th in C212.  You'll learn about our first assignment and continue to plan for our first camping trip.  Don't miss out!

Are you interested in theatre?  Do you enjoy hanging around the drama room?  Are you free after school on October 10^th?  Come try out for this year’s school play, “Our Place” by Terry Gabbard.  The audition sign-up sheet will be posted outside the drama room.  Again, auditions are on Tuesday, October 10^th after school.  See you there!

Interested in joining a science team?  There will be an information session about the Kwantlen Science Challenge, for all grades, and the UBC Physics Olympics.  The meeting will be at the beginning of lunch in Mr. Thiessen’s room B219 on Thursday.  That’s Thursday at lunch!    

Grade 12 Students are you interested in universities across the country? Today is your chance to attend a Canadian Universities Event CUE at Delta Burnaby Hotel 6:30-9:00 pm. Registration not required.
